Perfect getaway
It was our first time in the area and it ended up being a perfect getaway. The cabin was perfect, well decorated, and fully equipped. The fenced area was perfect for the dogs and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. The community was great for walking and exploring and not too far from other areas to venture too. Karen was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back.
The cabin was beautiful
The cabin was beautiful & Karen is a phenomenal host! Our minivan got stuck on a portion of a moist, washed out gravel area & we were so thankful for the shovel at the cabin. (Most of the development is gravel roadway with some decent grade.) After we communicated about the challenging area, she had gotten in touch with the development office & the road was fixed less than two hours later! We traveled with our 6 kiddos, one being a firecracker babytot, & we were so thankful for the child/pet retractable gate at the bottom of the stairs!!! The cabin is beautiful, kitchen well stocked & was comfortably spacious for our whole family. We spent half the week just enjoying what was in the complex: the fire pit outside & rock hunting, the waterfall, the creek, the lake & the dock to jump off of. We made some wonderful memories!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Everything was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Karen went above and beyond to welcome our pets! We will definitely come back and stay again!

Very nice! Set up well, Karen is very responsive. She sent very detailed instructions despite me overlooking them! lol! But then was very helpful after that as well. Hopefully all the roads will be opened the next time we stay. Would definitely stay again!
Perfect place for us to get awa
Karen’s cabin was just the perfect place for us to get away, unplug and enjoy the beautiful fall leaf turning. The cabin is cozy yet has everything you need, and our hosts even stocked the kitchen with teas, coffee and even a nice bottle of wine! The area is very secure with lots of places to walk around, but also within easy driving distance to restaurants and to towns such as Asheville and Black Mountain. The views of the lake were just amazing! Our dog, Max, felt very welcome as there were blankets, toys and treats for him to enjoy, which he did! We definitely recommend Karen and her Cabin and it has taken our #1 spot of places to stay in Western NC, we’ll definitely be back! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!🙏🏻
